If you are over 16 and your feet have stopped growing you can just write "adult" on the fax. Have the person stand up, then trace the larger foot with a sock on it. Measure the longest and widest points of the foot and write the measurements on your fax. Sometimes fax machines can distort images and we want to be as accurate as possible.
