About Wig Colors Each of the wig/hairpiece styles that we carry comes in a variety of colors. The colors for some of the styles are different than those for other styles, so be sure you are looking at the correct wig/hairpiece and it's corresponding color chart when making your selection. We have included our own descriptions of each color along with the appropriate color order number. We have pictured swatches of each available color in each style. Please understand, however, that because of photography, scanning processes, and the different settings on your individual computer monitor, that these colors are only a guide and do not accurately represent the actual wig/hairpiece color. If you have a question about matching a color, e-mail us and we will respond promptly. Ordering Color Rings You may order a loaner color ring to help you choose the perfect color wig or hairpiece. Color rings contain swatches of the actual fibers used to make our wigs and hairpieces. Looking at the color ring for the desired style, and matching it to your own haircolor will give you a much more accurate idea of colors than you can get from a photo or written color description. Try to match the swatch from the color ring to the front hair that will be showing when wearing the 3/4 cap wig or hairpiece. If you have it narrowed down to two different colors and aren't sure which to go with, it's usually better to choose the lighter of the two. We charge $25.00 for loaner color rings. $20.00 of this is refundable towards the purchase of one of our wigs or hairpieces once you have decided on a color. Color rings MAY NOT be purchased for this $25.00 loaner fee. Color rings must be returned within 10 days of receipt, or the purchaser will be charged a late fee of $10/mo. per color ring (until the item is returned or for a period of 3 months from date of purchase) plus the cost of the color ring ($35.00). Hair Sample Color Matching To help you choose the right wig or hairpiece color, we can also match a hair sample. Snip a small piece of hair from the nape of the neck (where hair tends to be the shade of hair at the front of your head) and tape it on one end to a piece of paper. Fold and mail to us, indicating which style wig you are interested in matching. Try not to send snipets of hair from the ends, as hair ends tend to be dried out and are usually lighter than the rest of the hair.
